Je m'appelle...

To introduce yourself, you can say..je m'appelle..my name is..
and add your nationality if necessary...je suis italien...I am Italian
If you want to ask somebody what is their name, you can either say:
Comment tu t'appelles? if you are talking to a youngster or a friend of a friend
If not, you need to use the 'vous' form, the polite form..
Comment vous vous appelez? What is your name?
